Atsuto Inoue

Atsuto Inoue

CEO of INSPIREI and XR developer (Unity, SparkAR, Web). Visiting lecturer at Waseda University since 2021.

Earned his M.E. from Waseda University, where he pioneered research on sound field visualization using AR devices. Received the ASJ Student Excellent Presentation Award and presented at SIGGRAPH '1

After developing VR/AR applications at Kayac and MESON—including CES exhibitions (NrealLight 2020, Nissan Motors 2019)—he returned to Waseda University to advance visualization research, which led to the founding of INSPIREI.

Yasuhiro Oikawa

ADVISER / PROFESSOR

Yasuhiro Oikawa

Ph.D. in Engineering. Professor in the Department of Intermedia Art and Science at Waseda University. Received his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. from Waseda University (1995, 1997, 2001).

Specializes in communication acoustics, sound field visualization, auralization, and signal processing.

Member of IEEE, ACM, ASA, ASJ, IEICE, IPSJ, VRSJ, and AIJ.

Yusuke Ikeda

Yusuke Ikeda

Professor in the Department of Information Media, Faculty of Future Sciences, Tokyo Denki University.

Received his Ph.D. in International Information and Communication Studies from Waseda University in 2007. Formerly a researcher at ATR and NICT, and an assistant professor at Kyoto University, Tokyo Denki University, and Waseda University before joining Tokyo Denki University full-time in 2017 (current position since 2021).

Specializes in spatial acoustics and sound field visualization, with a focus on spatial acoustic measurement and information processing.

Wataru Teraoka

ENGINEER

Wataru Teraoka

Engineer at INSPIREI Inc. and Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Intermedia Art and Science, Graduate School of Fundamental Science and Engineering, Waseda University.

Received his M.E. from Waseda University in 2019. His research focuses on spatial visualization of sound fields using AR devices.
